Martin Luther King, Jr.
"I Have a Dream"
delivered 28 August 1963, at the Lincoln Memorial, Washington D.C.

...And so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal."

I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.

I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

I have a dream today!

I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of "interposition" and "nullification" -- one day right there in Alabama little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.
I have a dream today!

-Mi i l'hai sugnà... -

Giobia 24 Mars 2011
Le masnà a i ero al sicur, përché tuti ij grand a i guernavo coma sa fusso ij sòi.
Ën t'ël me seugn, mi i fassia sempe 'l pan, ma i ero content e trovavo pa long: tuti a më giutavo e mi i dasìa 'd pan e 'd gërsin. Ij auti, chi më portava 'n sac ëd farin-a, chi na fassin-a për scaudè 'l forn. A la fin ëd la giornà, mi i l'avia anche 'l temp për ëndè a spass, come tuti ij auti.
A i era pa ni 'd re, ni 'd president, ma gnanca d'ij carabiniè a i era pa damanca. Gnun a fassia 'd mal a ij auti!
Da quand che 'l mond vej a l'era finì, a i era pa 'd gesie ni 'd ëscòle, përché gnun vuria pi nen contè 'd bale a ij grand, figurom-se a le masnà!
A i era pi nen le guere.
Da quande tuti a i ero pì content e spessiari, ospidaij e dotor a dasio pì nen ëd velen, a i era gnanca pì 'd malave.

I had a dream that my dear ones, my friends and I, we lived in a wonderful place. The sky was back to blue, and there were no "chemtrails". Everyone loved and helped each other, not counting what they gave and what they received.
Children were safe in every place they went because all adults took care of them as if they were their own.
In my dress I was still a baker, but I was happy about it and I didn't find my job boring at all: everyone helped me as they could, and I was giving them bread and breadsticks. Some were giving me a sack of flour, some others a bundle of wood to heat the furnace. At the end of the end of the day I, too, had the time to go for a walk, just like everybody else.
There were no kings nor presidents, but we didn't need any Police force. No one could harm their neighbor!
Since the old world was over, there were no churches nor schools, because no one wanted to keep telling lies to the adults, let alone to the children!
There were no wars in the world.
Because everyone was happier, and because pharmacies and doctors no longer poisoned the population, there we no more sick people.
The new Universal Constitution had only Article 1:
«It is forbidden to give a value to things and people, just like the words "god" and "money" are abolished. No one can bring back to life these concepts, nor establish new religions. The new world is founded on friendship and love.»
I wanted to tell you about my dream because I'm tired of talking about the ugliness that I see, read or hear when I'm awake. Also because the sooner we start to imagine a better world and the more we are, the sooner it will happen.
